ScalePoint was founded by Martin Koderisch in 2024, following over twenty years of leadership in strategy, partnerships, and corporate development within the global payments and financial services sectors. The firm was established with a singular purpose: to bring economic discipline to strategic decisions in payments and fintech businesses.

He began his career in institutional equity markets at Beeson Gregory before completing an MBA in Finance at Bayes Business School in London. He moved into merchant acquiring at Citi, holding P&L responsibility within the German payment acceptance business during its transition to Elavon, and later joined Simon-Kucher & Partners advising financial services clients on pricing and revenue strategy.

He subsequently held senior partnership and market development roles at Luup and Mastercard, working extensively on interchange economics, scheme fee modelling and complex commercial structures across European payments markets.

Martin then spent nine years at Edgar, Dunn & Company, delivering more than seventy five growth and transformation engagements across the global payments ecosystem. His work focused on unit economics, interchange and scheme analysis, commercial due diligence and the financial modelling underpinning major growth and investment decisions.

His career has consistently centred on ensuring that strategic ambition in complex payments platforms rests on disciplined economic foundations.
